Give Back Partners
The Seattle Seahawks and American Family Insurance deepened their partnership this October, working together to empower young athletes and enhance high school football programs across the community. As part of the initiative, the Seahawks and American Family Insurance donated 150 Guardian Caps, along with backpacks and notebooks, to football teams at Chief Sealth International High School and Curtis Senior High School.
The Saints General Manager, Mickey Loomis, stated that he would match the number of Caps for any player/staff member who would like to donate them to a high school. A few players that have donated from the Saints program are Dennis Allen, Erik McCoy, Cam Jordan, Tyrann Mathieu, D’Marco Jackson, Nephi Sewell, Derek Carr, and more staff.
We are proud to partner with Tate Ratledge, prior All-SEC linemen for Georgia Football, and Classic City Collective to help give back to the community. Tate took this opportunity to donate Guardian Caps to his old high school coach, now coaching at Calhoun High School. Proud of Tate for making a difference in his community and better protecting athletes.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Kellam Hall of Fame, the Knights added 100 brand new Guardian Caps to their inventory. The head coach did not waste any time putting them to good use. “Part of my job is not only to coach football, but it’s to try and keep our kids as safe as I possibly can,” Neas pointed out.
