We're looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to help grow our digital presence and support our marketing team. This internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports, social media, and content creation. 

 

What you'll do. 

As a Social Media Marketing Intern at Guardian Sports, you'll support day-to-day marketing efforts while learning how campaigns, content, and partnerships come together at a growing sports brand. This role is designed for someone early in their marketing career who's excited to gain hands-on experience, build real skills, and contribute meaningfully to the team. 

 You'll work alongside our marketing, creative, and editorial teams to help bring ideas to life across social media, email, digital campaigns, and partnerships—learning the process from brainstorming to execution along the way. 

 At Guardian Sports, you'll be part of our mission to improve athlete performance and safety through equipment innovation, while helping tell that story in clear, compelling ways. 

 

Responsibilities. 

  • Assist in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn 
  • Help create engaging content including short-form video, graphics, and photos 
  • Support content shoots including product, athlete, and event coverage 
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments/messages when appropriate 
  • Research trends, hashtags, and content ideas within the sports industry 
  • Assist with influencer and athlete outreach 
  • Help track and report on social media performance 
  • Support marketing campaigns and product launches 
  • Assist with general marketing tasks as needed 

 

Qualifications. 

  • Enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on business, marketing, or sports management. 
  • Passion for sports and a genuine interest in athlete safety. 
  • Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms 
  • Basic understanding of social media trends and short-form video 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
