UNC Charlotte x Guardian Caps

Last week, members of the Guardian Caps team had the opportunity to visit the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) and spend time with the 49ers football program. The visit was a chance to see firsthand how the team integrates Guardian Caps into their daily use.

As longtime advocates for player safety and innovation, we’re always excited to connect with programs that share our mission, and UNC Charlotte is a great example. The 49ers have incorporated Guardian Caps into their training to help reduce impact during practices.

We got a behind-the-scenes look at their gear setup, spoke with members of the equipment staff, and enjoyed walking through their process for keeping players better protected throughout the season. From helmets to pads and everything in between, it’s clear that UNC Charlotte takes player safety seriously—and we’re proud to be a part of that effort.
