PEARL Lacrosse Balls Bring Brighter, Bolder Play to the 2025 PLL Season
Earlier this year, the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and Maybelline Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL) officially named PEARL their “Official Ball Partner,” championing a bold new era in lacrosse equipment history.
As the 2025 PLL season kicks off, fans, players and analysts have noticed something new, and very much improved – the lacrosse balls are brighter, bolder and significantly easier to follow, whether you’re watching from the stands, the field, the press box or your living room.
“If you’re new to the game, [the ball] is a difficult thing to track. These guys shoot at over 100 miles per hour.”
To address the roadblock, PEARL crafted a custom PPL game ball using the PEARL X Optic Yellow. In addition to their ability to achieve maximum visibility, PEARL lacrosse balls are engineered to not grease or harden over time.

“During Sixes, I remember looking and asking myself, ‘Wait, did they change the ball color? I can see those things from a mile away.’ I really like this. Instead of nerfing the goalies, we are helping them out a bit more. It’s about time.”
