Unless you have been living under a rock (looking at you Jerod Leto), it is obvious the need for hand sanitizer sky-rocketed in the past few months.  Yet recently, a long list of hand sanitizer was recalled by the FDA.  Which begs the question, is Guardian PolyArmor Hand Sanitizer safe to use?

In short, the answer is YES!  Both our gel and liquid hand sanitizers are registered with the FDA and are manufactured in the USA at our FDA & EPA registered facility to meet CDC, FDA, and WHO guidelines for hand sanitizer.

So what is the difference between Guardian PolyArmor Hand Sanitizer and the long list of hand sanitizers recalled?

• Most, if not all, of the recalled sanitizers where manufactured outside of the USA and imported from Mexico. You can see the entire updated list here.
• The recalled hand sanitizers have been tested and contain dangerous levels of Methanol.  The FDA guidelines suggest that hand sanitizers contain less than 200 parts/million, whereas, some of the recalled had up 700,000 parts/million.  Methanol, or wood alcohol, is a substance that can be toxic when absorbed through the skin and can be life-threatening when ingested.  Guardian PolyArmor Hand Sanitizer is tested meticulously to make sure we are adhering to the proper and safe levels of methanol (less than 200 parts per million).
