The Guardian Cap is the leading soft shell helmet cover engineered for impact reduction. It brings a padded, soft-shell layer to the outside of the decades old hard-shell football helmet and reduces ‘HARM’ UP TO 40%.
The NFHS permits the use of Guardian Caps and the NFL has mandated Guardian Caps for the 2024 season with expanded use. The updated mandate includes all practices preseason, regular season, and post season that have contact. They have also added Receivers and Defensive Backs to the list of positions mandated to wear Caps which now include: OL, DL, LB, TE, RB, FB, WR, DB. The NFL said Guardian Caps “remain a substantial success and reduced concussions up to 52%” after the 2023 mandate.
