Matchups of the Week

Guardian Caps In Action

It is officially week 10 of college football! Here are a few games from Guardian Caps customers that we will be watching this weekend!

Oklahoma State vs. WVU

West Virginia will host the Oklahoma State Cowboys this weekend in the mountains of Morgantown, WV. The Cowboys will come into the game as the #11 team in the country after a big 55-3 win over Kansas last week. They have had a hot start to the season with a 7-1 record on the year.

The Mountaineers have a two-game win streak headed into Saturday’s game. QB Jarret Doege had one of the best performances of his career against Iowa State with 370 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Kickoff is at 3:30pm ET in Milan Puskar Stadium.

Tennessee vs. Kentucky

Tennessee and Kentucky will square off on Saturday at 7pm ET. The Vols had a bye last week and should be well rested and ready to go. Tennessee is currently sitting 4-4 on the season but appears to be getting better with every game. QB Hendon Hooker is currently averaging almost 10 yards per pass.

The Vols will have to stop Kentucky’s dominant running game. Running back Chris Rodriguez is averaging an impressive 6 yards per carry. Additionally, Kentucky is 7-0 in their last 7 home games. Coach Stoops is having a great season and is currently nominated for the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year award.

Oregon vs. Washington

The Washington Huskies will play their biggest game of the year on Saturday. The Huskies will be at home against the Oregon Ducks. They have played each other 112 times, dating back to 1900.

Oregon is 7-1 on the season and has its sights on a Pac-12 conference championship. The Ducks ended the month of October with a 52-29 win over Colorado. The Huskies are 4-4 on the season but are entering November with a recent win over Stanford.

Kickoff is at 7:30pm ET in Seattle, WA.
